CNY21 @ Southern Waterfront

This Bull Year is a Lunar New Year that I had never experience before. As we try to emerge from COVID-19, the threat of a new virus strain resulted in a tightening of social gathering restrictions. It has a much lesser effect on me, as I do not do much visiting during CNY but it unmistakably does feels very differently.

Normally, my family will had gone to watch a CNY movie produced locally in Singapore (those Jack Neo or Mark Lee movies) or those from Hong Kong. However, due to COVID-19, we decided to go walk in Mount Faber instead. While there, as we saw there was not too many people taking cable car, we decided to utilise our $100 Discovery Vouchers and take cable car and make a round trip into Sentosa.

For the first time in more than 1 year, I had my camera out with me and I could finally do some decent shooting (like how I will do when I go holidays – which I had not done for more than 1 year).

No matter how hard we try, we are a small nation with restriction. Our recreational beaches are simply side by side with the anchored commercial shippings and port. In the past, when I went to the sea, my whole shirt is ruined due to the oil stains…. I do not know how it is now.
